When you are blessed with beautiful light and the incredible surroundings of south Iceland to have your dream pre-wedding, the results are mind-blowing. The gorgeous May & Lee flew to Iceland to celebrate their upcoming union and have a two days awesome adventure exploring the unique nature of this tiny island in the middle of the North Atlantic ocean.
The couple love to travel and so this was an excuse to tick lots more countries off their list.

May looks absolutely gorgeous in a badass black dress and leather jacket combo with the most adorable crown embellished with gems on her head, proving that it’s absolutely fine for brides to be as sexy as hell for their wedding day to look more Rock & Roll and express their personality. Ultimately, it’s about wearing your style and May most definitely looks true to her beautiful self.

I had the biggest pleasure to capture all of the magic during the two days – the stunning Icelandic scenery and the sizzling chemistry between this loved up pair of adventurers. Without sounding insanely cheesy, these really are memories of a lifetime. (Ok so that was a little cheesy, but I don’t even care – it’s just all so beautiful).

On the first day we explored the south part of Iceland. We visited the majestic Skógafoss waterfall which was absolutely incredible with its icy surroundings and epic rainbow brought by the February sunshine. We got to see the icebergs of the Sólheimarjökull Glacier for a second, but unfortunately we got hit by a thick snow cloud when we were about to take photos there and the thick snow blanket hid all the beauty in the background. Apart from that we were extremely lucky with the weather. The whole day was sunny and surprisingly still. (not like in our second day which brought upon a completely different but fun experience. Iceland is the king of drastically changing weather.)

We couldn’t miss the famous Black Sand Beach and Dyrhólaey in our journey. We got there late afternoon just before the sun was about to set and we could capture all those happy final moments in the blue hour of our stupendous first adventure day.
