Setting:
One of the most epic adventure engagement sessions all time! We simply had a tone of fun with Maria and Darac. (Maria is a fellow photographer from the States) They are truly an awesome and outgoing couple. I loved every minute of the day. It was a bit challenging since we were shooting in a storm which became pretty violent for the end of the day but they didn’t really care about the heavy rain and cold. They were awesome and it was an unforgettable day!

Perspective:

´So so happy and in love with these images! I was laughing and smiling while looking through them. Beautiful memories forever with us now and so thankful you were there to capture them for us.´

´We decided we wanted to go on a big trip together and figured it should be Iceland. It just looks so amazing in photos and videos that we’ve seen. So we wanted to experience the landscape and natural beauty of Iceland together. Also, who wouldn’t want some epic engagement photos there?! We didn’t really plan anything except for our first two days there, which honestly turned out to be the best thing ever. I usually want everything planned out for vacations and know where we will stay, so I was a bit worried about how everything would turn out. However, I realized just how great it was to not have a planned schedule and take everything day by day. Spending the whole day with you and Baldur was great and made me realize that this vacation was going to work out and that everything would be fine without things being scheduled out days and days ahead. Your Italy story made me feel better! Haha! Driving around with you guys made me realize that we didn’t need to plan with any self driving tour guides. It was so easy to find things to explore just on our own.

My tip for other couples who are planning to visit Iceland is just be flexible and plan it day by day. I think the only thing we had to plan for was the Blue Lagoon, which was what we visited after landing. Everything else that needed us to schedule a time like the glacier hiking and ice climbing we planned the day before or two. Renting a car is the best way to travel and maybe even a camper van too.´
